This past weekend it was very rainy here in D.C. --so we decided it would be a great day to visit a museum. We had not been to the American History Museum since the recent renovation. It was fantastic. My first stop, you guessed it, Julia Child's kitchen. It was inspirational to say the least. In the top picture her kitchen is behind me --unfortunately visitors are not allowed behind the glass wall. So sad. Hopefully you have a better view in the second picture. There are also several displays in the part where I am standing --videos of Julia's old shows, a display of some of her favorite pots and pans, etc. I love Julia Child so this was so much fun for me!!! I hope you get a chance to visit, too!
