Kiwi "Bowl"

These are my wonderful Girls on Track gals.  Girls on Track is a program for 6th through 8th grade girls.  It is part running and part self-esteem building lessons.  I love it!  These girls inspire me each and every time we meet.  We end each session with a snack.  I will bake something healthy ( my Energy Muffins are a big favorite) or bring some type of seasonal fruit.  As you can see from the picture the girls are eating kiwi.  These are kiwi "bowls" --that is what we call them at our house.  Just slice the top off and use a spoon to scoop out the fruit.  We have these at breakfast quite a bit and I also pack them into little round tupperware-type containers for lunch.  They transport very nicely.  My Girls on Track went crazy for these .... I bet you and your family will, too.
